Illinois Ventures LLC

Our primary advisors are Rob Schultz and Amit Sudharshan from Illinois Ventures LLC. Illinois Ventures is our principal investor and has a 14% stake in Fashion Latte Inc. This investment is a result of our participation in the iVentures10 program in Summer 2008.

Rob Schultz is the Senior Director at Illinois Ventures and manages their Champaign, IL, office. Rob is the Founder and former CEO of DigitalWork, Inc., a small business services company and a Draper Fisher Jurvetson, TL Ventures, Dell Ventures and Attractor portfolio company. As CEO, Rob led the company in building an award-winning service, raising substantial funding from top-tier venture firms, leading the company through an IPO process, hiring over 140 talented employees, acquiring over 10,000 customers and developing partnerships with such leading companies as AOL, Dell, Office Depot, and Wells Fargo. Prior to DigitalWork, Rob was the President of Nequity, a subsidiary of Signet Bank that was acquired in 1997. Prior to Nequity, Rob was a consultant with McKinsey and Company and Deloitte and Touche. In 2000, Rob was a Year 2000 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. He was named as one of the "100 most important executives, decision-makers, financiers and idea people in the Chicago Internet community" by Crain's Chicago Business and one of the "top 100 people who put the 'new' in Chicago's new economy" by i-Street Reporter. Rob has been a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business since 1994, is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. Rob received an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in economics from Northwestern University.

Amit Sudharshan is a Senior Analyst at IllinoisVENTURES focusing on IT, digital media, and the iVentures10 program. He brings both cutting edge technical knowledge as well as strategic business insight to the firm. Amit focuses on new investment opportunities as well as supporting Directors in managing existing portfolio companies, and also manages the iVentures10 program. Amit is a founder of the IllinoisVENTURES funded company, ONE LLAMA and has served as a board member and operationally as the Director of Product Development. At ONE LLAMA Amit had oversight over day to day operations and worked closely with the board of directors to set strategy. Amit has developed many of the core proprietary technologies for ONE LLAMA. He was named one of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center's "Entrepreneurs to Watch for in 2008." Amit has a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
